Soft Tissue Release

The doctors in the office can sometimes use special tools to help breakdown disorganzied muscle tissue. One technique the doctors utilize in office is instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization.

When our bodies and muscles experience trauma or injury, there are solutions where the muscle tissue stays in a contracted or tight state. The doctors use metal tools that they move or scrape along different surfaces of the skin to reach certain muscle fibers.

This produces a controlled, inflammatory response to increase blood flow to a given area to help promote tissue repair.
